Alexandria, Va. (February 7, 2024) – We are pleased to announce the 2024-2025 ACA President-elect. Elsa Soto Leggett, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S™ will begin her term on July 1.
Elsa Soto Leggett holds a doctorate in counselor education and is an associate professor and practicum and internship coordinator at Truman State University. She is a licensed professional counselor supervisor in Texas, a licensed professional counselor in Missouri, a registered play therapist supervisor and a certified school counselor in Texas. She is also the sole proprietor of Shelter Counseling & Supervision. Leggett served on the ACA Governing Council from 2017 to 2019 and is a member of ACA’s International Committee.
