ACA’s Director of Government Affairs, Art Terrazas, spoke with the Associated Press about a report stating that New Mexico ranks well below the national average in graduating students with disabilities with a regular high school diploma. Over the last few months, ACA has advocated for Governor Martinez of New Mexico to allocate unspent state funds to the Development Disabilities Waivers Program.
“The report should prompt New Mexico residents to demand more resources for students with disabilities,” said Mr. Terrazas.
